It worked perfectly on her Windows 7 machine until recently. Now, by looking into the Device manager this is what we see: And now when she connects the dongle to the USB port it does't work. I've tested it: I connected the dongle to my old XP machine and there it worked fine - and instantly. So the thing itself is OK.
I just bought a USB bluetooth dongle under the advice of somebody in a forum who said that all CSR 4.0 dongles should work out of the box. Plugged it in, not discovering any devices and I can't see it from any of my devices, same as when it's unplugged.
